My pre birthday celebration & Gideon's farewell

I was told that i am a party spoiler. Well, i kinda spoiled the surprise which was supposed to be for my birthday.
So, what happened was, Sharon sms-ed the other day asking if i could attend Gideon's farewell gathering on Wednesday.
Usually, my Wednesdays are pretty long because of endless classes, which starts from 8am and ends at 6pm.

So, i thought maybe i should just give it a miss. But then, Sharon called, and said,
"Eh, its supposedly to be a surprise party for u also la. Come la..everyone else said ok and that they are coming."
Wow...i feel special. "A surprise for me?! YEAH!!!"
Ok, so, i agreed and met up with them for dinner.
Let's just put it this way, "its ok even if i had a super long day. it is worth everythin."

From the great company right to the food.
We went to Italiannis at The Gardens as most of us could not think of where to go for dinner, and the only thing i could think of was Chillis, Gavin's favourite.

When it comes to food...(the best part), Wei Lik, Aiwei and I shared the Caeser Salad and the seafood pasta together, which the food was more than enough. Wei Lik was feeling really full for dinner because he had 2 naan bread for lunch at Ali Maju.
Who on earth would order 2 naan bread so confidently! That is Wei Lik...

Calamari Caeser Salad

Cant remember the name of the pasta. But it is like a seafood pasta. A fantastic dish!

Meatball Spaghetti..
U should see the size of the meatballs. It is the size of an orange.
No kidding!
Mun Yee and Seak Ling shared this meal.

Salmon Fettucine
This was shared by Michelle Chin and Fira

Cant remember!
Is this Fish & Chips? Sharon and Susan shared this meal.

So, these are my primary & secondary friends, college friends, friend's friend whom i know pretty well now. Yeah, such a big group.

For a start, meet....

Gideon (the guy whom abandoned HELP and us for Monash)

Aiwei and Wei-I

yeah, u guys better stop laughing!..They are not sisters. Just friends. Well, when i introduced Aiwei to Wei-I, trust me, i just couldnt stop laughing.

Fira, me and Susan.
Fira, recently went for National Service and came back tanner, thinner. So, women, wanna get a tan and thinner, i would suggest National Service.

Meet Gavin or should i say Gavina. Gavin has split personality.
Well, needless for me to say, the pictures says it all!

How ru doing, girlfriend?!

OooOoo, fierce guy! Rawr!

Michelle Chin, Seak Ling, Mun Yee, Sharon and I

Myself & Mah Aiwei

Simon and Andrew joined us after dinner. That's nice of them.
Thanks guys for the present u guys bought me. Really thoughtful and I likeeeeee it!

Love u guys alot!!!!!!!!!!!!
****************
U should see Aiwei's and my face the next day for class. We looked as if we hadnt had any sleep the night before, or looked like we "tau kai" (steal chickens) during the night. It was so funny!! Cant believe the both of us were so tired and exhausted...Hehe..
Oh, well....we have the whole week off for HARI RAYA!...ALLELUIA!

Emo me

My tummy has got butterflies
I can feel it getting all tangled and twisted
My palms are sweating
I feel suffocated
And i need to puke

That was how i felt at the airport when Val and Kat was leaving. Oh my goodness, i couldnt imagine the anxiety i was feeling. The anxious feeling for the both of them, the excitement and probably the fun they will have without me!!! But of course, they wont have much fun without me, but they have each other....Hehe..

My day is spoilt....Im sad...

Steam-boat!

Last week Friday, the few of us from Stella Maris met up to have Steamboat..again..
It was the third time Val, and I had steamboat in a week.
Kat had steamboat with us twice, because she couldnt make it for last week Friday's. However, the Steamboat we had was at Damansara Village, and the seafood was really really good. I mean, really fresh.
U wont believe how fresh it can be, until the extent that the prawns was still alive when we cook it in the soup.
Can u imagine the tiger prawns jumping in the hot soup?! yeah...that fresh..and its cruel.
"Oh, my god! This is so cruel...Im not eating it. Im not eating it!"..Val claims..
She had 1..
Crab was not too bad..and the fish is fresh too. But of course the fish was not fresh to the extent that it is put into the soup, alive!
Oh, and there's abalone too...Cool, huh? and clams, and mussels..

Myself, Donna and Simon

This is the crab

Boey and Val

Val looks very engross with her crab

Kat joined us later after we were done with steamboat

GROUP PHOTO!
U know eating seafood can be quite messy..So, i did not manage to take much photos. And besides, who likes to be taken photo of themselves eating! But, the seafood is fresh, not a doubt.
********
On the way back to Taman Tun for drinking session, at the One Utama traffic lights coming from the LDP, there was a Mercedes in front of my car. After a long wait at the traffic light, and cars are driving faster to make sure they are able to beat the traffic light before it turns red, the Mercedes in front of me was stagnant..
And i mean, it was stagnant! It did not move one single bit!
I was thinking...
"okay..., maybe the car broke down. But it cant be because i can see the handbrakes light"
And so, me being a Malaysian, and my car was pretty near to his car, i cant overtake him, unless i reverse. So, i honked at the Mercedes...i HONK and HONK, and HONK!
but the car just stayed there, and did not move.
"oh, my goodness...i cant believe this is happening to me...just like the movies"
So, i reversed a little, and overtook his car, and u wont believe it!.. the man in the car was sleeping..or maybe dead. Im not sure..However, i was too far from his car to stop and wake him up. I should have done something..
Yes, it is so drama..and i cant believe he can even sleep at the traffic light..I wonder how long was he sleeping in his car at the traffic light, and that is if he is alive!

Picture perfect..

Im totally in love with Sex and the City..

Four ladies
Fashionable and pretty
Loves shopping
Loves hanging out with each other
Shares secrets and support each other morally
Loves drinking and party
Loves fashion show
Loves high heels and fancy dresses.

Best part is, although they are occupied with their men, but they still meet up, hang out and stay close.
The question is, How perfect can that life be?!
Oh, I envy, envy, envy! I would especially wish i could be in their shoes when i hit the big 5-0 (although it is a long way more)!

Beethoven's Love Letters - Sex and the City Movie

Letter 3
Good morning, on July 7

Though still in bed, my thoughts go out to you, my Immortal Beloved, now and then joyfully, then sadly, waiting to learn whether or not fate will hear us -
I can live only wholly with you or not at all -
Yes, I am resolved to wander so long away from you until I can fly to your arms and say that I am really at home with you, and can send my soul enwrapped in you into the land of spirits -
Yes, unhappily it must be so -
You will be the more contained since you know my fidelity to you.
No one else can ever possess my heart - never - never -
Oh God, why must one be parted from one whom one so loves.
And yet my life in V is now a wretched life -
Your love makes me at once the happiest and the unhappiest of men -
At my age I need a steady, quiet life - can that be so in our connection?
My angel, I have just been told that the mailcoach goes every day -
therefore I must close at once so that you may receive the letter at once -
Be calm, only by a calm consideration of our existence can we achieve our purpose to live together -
Be calm - love me - today - yesterday - what tearful longings for you - you - you - my life - my all - farewell.
Oh continue to love me - never misjudge the most faithful heart of your beloved.

ever thine
ever mine
ever ours

L.

Birthday!!!

I have been going out so often last week, that i had no time to blog.
So, for a start, Michelle Chin's birthday, and we met up at Midvalley, Seed Cafe.

But first of all, we went for bowling before dinner. And, i was totally losing it! I practically played bowling to make the others feel better of themselves. Yeah, basically, i was in a good mood that day, so i decided to lose to make everyone happy. Especially, Kitty Kat!

This is Michelle Chin

Chicken chop, which was what i ordered.
Fish and Chips

So, it was a fun outing and nice way of meeting new friends, also catching up with friends i have not been seeing for quite a while Matthew..on the other hand, is in the land down under, so, he is missing all the fun..i guess..
and its absorbing into my head that Val and Kat will be leaving in a few days time....damn..

Baskin Robbins

My favourite dessert...

Wow, my first time pampering myself to ice-cream waffle

This is my ice cream...Yummy!

KL!

On Thursday, Kat, Val and I were crazy enough to get down to Kl, booked a hotel, bunk in and had some fun!
For a start, we stayed at Berjaya Hotel, The KL PLaza, which was a condominium. So, we were kinda surprise to see the place pretty huge.

Val all wormed up

The Toilet which was not fantastic. But ok-ok la!

Then, to Pavilion is a walking distance, so, we went to La Bodega for a luxurious dinner in Pavilion.

Caesar Salad

Tapas with something..

Ok, dont ask me the name of the food that i ordered or something, as i am just not sure. The name of the food is in Spanish and its not easy to pronounce. So, its just food! haha...

Went back to the hotel, stayed up to watch some tv and talk until 3 something or was it 4? Val kept on dozzing off while kat and i were talking, that i kept on touching her nose to wake her up again. Hehe..
The next day, we woke up around 10 and collected Val's visa. Then, we came back to Ikano for some delicious steamboat which i kept on thinking about it until today. Haha!
So, that's about it.
Overall, it was fun and a good way of catching up.

Think of me..

If you wander off too far,
my love will get you home.
If you follow the wrong star,
my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself,
lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me,
my love will get you home,
boy, my love will get you home.
If the bright lights blind your eyes,
my love will get you home.
If your troubles break your stride,
my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself,
lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me,
my love will get you home,
boy, my love will get you home.
If you ever feel ashamed,
my love will get you home.
When there's only you to blame,
my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself,
lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me,
my love will get you home,
boy, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself,
lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me,
my love will get you home,
boy, my love will get you home,
boy, my love will get you home.
CHRISTINA GLASS - MY LOVE WILL GET YOU HOME

nandoooos

Kat, Val and I went out for dinner. We were clueless of where to go. Then, we decided to head to Jaya One as it is somewhere new, and i thought, i thought ok? that there is a new restaurant call d' Italian which was supposedly to be quite good.
hehe...but of course, my mistake, when we got there, we realised d'Italian is not there.
So, we just wondered around looking for restaurants to dine, and we just went to Nandos for dinner instead. Haha...But it sure does look different compared to other Nandos around.

Random photo taken by Val

Sure Val look violent with the fork

Hehe...drunkard Val without alcohol

Must be the horrible choc mud pie!
So, this was on Saturday night...btw, i know where d'Itallian is..It is at Jaya 33!..Shamay told me. Haha...Ok, will really go there one of the days, ok?

Avril Lavigne

Hey!hey! You! You!
I know that you like me!

Hehe...yes, yes! I was there, and Yes, she is pretty and small.
Had fun?!
For a start, Aiwei and i were clueless how on earth are we gonna get to Stadium Merdeka. We had to Google, and Aiwei's dad had to take her down to KL first, as we were initially, thinking of driving down. Well, in the end, we decided it would be a better idea to take the LRT which was pretty convenient. Take the Putra LRT to KL Sentral. Walk across the road to the Monorail and get to Maharajalela. Just like that!
Then, when we were there, it started to rain. Not heavily, but the organizers were kind to provide each and everyone of us a rain coat. However, as i thought i was able to outwit them, i brought my umbrella. A security guard came and told everyone whom was carrying an umbrella to put it away when the concert starts as the umbrella might be blocking other people who are sitting behind.

This is how Aiwei looks like. Depressed...at the beginning. Haha..

Some pictures...

This is how the stage looks like before the concert starts.

Hey! Those people at the field pays more to be there, ok?
even though seats are not provided for them because
it is supposedly to be nearer to Avril Lavigne,
so it is more expensive.

This is how the stage looks like when the concert started.
Toilets in the middle of nowhere?!..

Thanks to Aiwei, whom manage to get the free tickets, we were able to watch Avril perform. Well, i would not say that the performance is THAT FANTASTIC. She left really abrupt and the concert was slightly more than an hour only. But overall, it is an experience and i really think she is talented and a great singer.
Thanks again Aiwei, for asking me to go to the concert with u!...It has been a while since i went for any of this kind of concert.
