My favourite song! Have a blessed New Year, everyone!

-my thoughts-

I have no idea why, but im kinda excited about the coming new year. It is probably the fact that I have no idea what am i gonna do next year. Like, will I studying locally? Will I be working and stuff like that? To me, it sounds scary the fact that my paft is a little blurry for now, but exciting at the same time. Well, of course for this new year, i hope for the best in whatever my decisions are. Anyhow, I will try not to think too far ahead and hopefully everything will just fall into place.
'Carpe diem'

Happy new year! Love, hugs and kisses.

Christmas Dinner, Zouk

It was the time of the year when friends meet up to exchange gifts and have dinner together. Dinner was at Relish, Zouk. All of us ordered the burgers as they are supposedly to be very popular there, but i think it tasted just al-right. Wing kept on saying his Aussie burger tasted like Ramli burger special.
Haha!

Then, after the dinner and the gift exchanged, most of us adjourned to the club upstairs..Some pictures taken although it is not very clear.

Christmas Day at Curve

Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope most of u enjoyed your Christmas and probably the long holiday as well. As for me, my Christmas has been rather different this year compared to the years before..For a start, my parents are away. They are in Australia; visiting my sister for her graduation. So, things are a little more quiet and probably less Christmas presents too. ;-) Hehe..
But, good thing is that i managed to hang out with my sister and uncle as well. We went out for dinner on Christmas eve and Christmas day.
Then, besides the fact my parents are not around for this Christmas, Val and Kat are not around too...So, i guess, lesser friends to hang out with for Christmas and lesser friends celebrating Christmas with me!

But, anyway, besides all that, this is also one of my first time actually going to a shopping complex on Christmas day for dinner. Usually, its always my mum cooking a lovely roast dinner serve with wine. How nice...Well, i called my mum last night and told her to cook roast dinner when she comes back. Craving for it!
Curve was really nice on Christmas day. The decorations and how lively it was!! These are some of the decorations at Curve. How pretty!

Oohh, little elf with the elephant. How cute..

My uncle, grandma and I had Marche for dinner. The food is alright-la! Not too bad.
Took some pictures of my cousin. She is adorable when she has enough of sleep. And..when she is in front of the camera, bukan main gaya, man! Take a look.

p/s: Did i mention that i have an Oakley sunglasses for my Christmas present?! Hehee..

Outing during the weekend

Finally, our long awaited outing; with Shamay!
Well, Kristyn was supposed to join Shamay and I for breakfast at La Bodega, Bangsar, last weekend, but instead, she woke up at 7 something to sms me and say that she wont be joining us as she rather sleep...Hmmm...'What la, Kris!'
So, anyway, Shamay stayed over at my place, and we went to La Bodega to have the 'Big Breakfast' the next day..
Shamay and I talked about the portion of food at La Bodega and we concluded that it was not such a BIG breakfast..I mean, we ate, until we dont feel hungry, but not stuffed. So, probably if we ever go to La Bodega for breakfast again, we will definitely be trying something different.

I just like this picture.

The both of us.

"Shamay, do u think with the background of the picture, and if i tell my friends that i went to Australia and took this, do u think they will believe me?!" (refering to the picture above) i said
Shamay replied "yeah, i think they might..."

After breakfast, we went to do some shopping. It was a banglo which was rented to some bloggers selling clothes online. I was supposed to collect some clothes from Autumn Closet (a blog) at the banglo, but ended up going inside and did some shopping too. Well, nothing much, just got myself a belt and tights..Shamay bought some dresses too! We werent there for too long. Just about an hour plus, i think...

Then, feeling thirsty, we went to Bangsar Village, Marmalade...

Ok, i know i said THIRSTY...but just look at the apple crumble..WHO can resist this oh-so-delicious apple crumble? Hehe...Shamay and I just couldnt. We were contemplating if we should order salad, or the apple crumble. But we finally decided to just order the apple crumble.

Shamay and I

Marmalade is nice except for the not so funny waiter. Should go there again, and Shamay, u should try the salad the next time.
The not so funny waiter...hmm, just thinking about him makes me crinkle my nose. His 'jokes' are lame...and he is just so annoying. Sigh, so anyway, i will not go there, or else, its gonna tick Louis and Shamay off!...Cause i couldnt stop talking and complaining about him! ahaha..

Its Christmas eve and i better get ready for dinner. Merry Christmas everyone and have a happy new year.

Love, hugs and kisses..

Cameron Highlands - Sungai Palas

Besides the fact that i do not really fancy Cameron Highlands does not make me hate Cameron Highlands. Some of the places in Cameron Highlands are really worth going. One of it is the Sungai Palas plantation. The view and even the food, drinks are not too bad. What a pity we couldnt stay there for tea as we were rushing for lunch back at Tualang, Perak.

Here are some pictures taken at Sungai Palas. For a start, the road leading to Sungai Palas is pretty narrow. It is a 2 way traffic cramped into a small road. There are buses and cars passing by both  ways, so i guess it takes some skills and determination to go in and out the plantation!

The ladies..

The men..or so, they claimed

The plantation view..

The jumping version..im not in it..i cant do it!hahaa...so, i took some pictures instead. But i think, this picture looks very nice..

That's about all the pictures which i took at Camerons. Hehe..

i indulged happily today, thinking i will be going for yoga later in the evening, to my only dismay that it was raining so heavily, and the traffic was horrible, that i turn my car around, and headed home instead.

There, the longest sentence i've made.

Anyway, im definitely gonna make it up and wake up earlier tomorrow to go for yoga instead.

Louis' birthday celebration (Part 2)

I was supposed to celebrate Louis' birthday with him at La Bodega. Well, we wanted to have breakfast there. Unfortunately, Louis had to attend countless wedding dinner and lunch during that weekend, so we went to Curve, and tried the Bubba Shrimp instead. So, in a way, it was kinda an impromptu dinner celebration with him.

This is how it works.
There are 2 signs on the table. One is "Run Forest Run" and the other is "Stop Forest Stop"
If u need a waiter or waitress to come by to refill your drinks or some sort, u can put the sign...

And if u dont need any services from the waiters or waitresses, then just leave the sign as..

While waiting for your food to come, they even serve Jacobs crackers to snack. Then, a waitress came over to our table and asked if we have watched the show 'Forest Gump'. And she asked us, if we know, wat was the girlfriend's name?Hinting to us...that it starts with the letter 'J'.

Hmm, both of us looking at each other, clueless..Can u guess?!

Come on....Hehehe....

Well, then i replied..."Is it.....Jenny?"

She replied, "Yes!!U GOT IT RIGHT! High five!"..hehehe...so funny. Oh well, wild guess!

No goats allowed!

Enjoying his mango juice, and MY ice lemon tea!!!!

Garlic bread with shrimps. Pretty good.It is about RM20 if im not mistaken.

This is 2 fillet fish, with some shrimps and mash potatoes.
I think this costs RM30.

A ping pong bat that has desserts menu on it.

Well, overall, it is not too bad. I guess, if u are a shrimp lover, then, u ought to try this. It was quite an experience and something different too.

Louis' birthday (Part1)

What a relief...Assignments due..and it has been a pretty stressful semester. Probably its the fact that its 2nd year, so assignments are much more demanding. Anyhow, im glad that its over..
Except the fact that we have presentations to worry about and final examinations in December.
I hope the times when i had to stay awake to complete my assignments will pay off, and (fingers cross) get distinctions for it! Woo-hoo!
Anyway, i will just update a little about my previous activity. Well, last week was Louis' birthday. He had a few celebrations; with his friends, family and ME!
Well, i was not able to join them for dinner, as on that very same day, was my dad's birthday. So, anyway, i just joined them for drinks after that. We headed to Souled Out, Hartamas. And i forgot to mention that it was Louis' and another friend's (Yun Shyan's) birthday.
Now, arent the two boys happy?! Hmm, all smiling.

The group of us.

Chocolate cake with marshmallows on top. From Westin.

Alysia and Nate.I just like this photo. Well, i took it!Cute, right?
Go ahead and watch the video. I find it hilarious and pretty disgusting..Haha..

Basically, it is a tradition for them to pull candles out of the cake with their teeth. As there are quite a few marshmallows, so, everyone agreed that they had to pull a marshmallow out instead. However, the marshmallow was too soft, and it was pretty difficult to pull it out.
He-he!

Just a quick post.
Recently, went to KLCC, kinokuniya bookstore.
I was buying a magazine and while waiting in line, there was this couple, a young couple, probably around 25-28 ish waiting in line as well.
And as i was waiting, i saw the couple whispering. The girl was whispering to her boyfriend. And i heard, something about the girl behind.

( i think) "Hmm, i wonder what is it about the girl behind. and if the girl she is talking about is me?!"

Hmm, anyhow, chances are, the person she is talking about should be me. As when i turned around, the person behind me was a guy. o-kay, this lady is bitchig about me!
Well, of course i am a civilised person, and did not shout at her nor confronted her. I just simply stare straight at her, and probably without realising it, gave her a glare. Ooopss!
You see, the problem is, never did she realise sound travels, and when she whisper (which is not a whisper, as i can obviously hear her so clearly), her voice actually travels to the back. Hence she did not look in front and 'whisper' to her boyfriend, but she turned towards him and whisper to him, leaning against his shoulders.
This was their conversation,
"The girl behind"
"Where?!" (looking everywhere)
"There, the girl behind us."
'Where?!" (still dont get it, and looking everywhere)

And while she was "whispering", she looked behind, and her eyes lock to mine. I definitely saw her face changed, and she instantly turned back in front.
Her boyfriend, still unaware of what just happened, kept on asking her "who? who?" and he turned around and saw me. And i was still staring at his girlfriend. He turned back in front, and said, "See la, see la."
She ignored him, and walked away.

Louis came, and i casually told him what happened in my very whispery voice, and his reply was,
"WHO?! U MEAN THAT GIRL IN BLUE?!"
Her boyfriend was still in front of us waiting in line to pay for his books. Bet he heard it..
I gave Louis the look. He told me, "If she can talk about u, why cant we?!" Hence, he was not whispering, ok? In his normal voice tone. Haha!
I bet her boyfriend heard it.
Oh well, what goes around comes around. At the end of the day, im still not sure of what she was gonna say about me. However, i am pretty sure, it is not a compliment, otherwise, she wouldnt have reacted the way she did. I dont feel sorry for myself, but feel sorry for her stupidity instead. Oh, well....what to do!!

Tropic Thunder

Im baacccckkkkkkkkk!
Not back from any holidays...but back from the torture period..assignment due date!
Well, it has been pretty stressful with the assignment that i had to complete by Mr Gavin.
Finally, Aiwei and I hand the assignment in on Monday..and it was a relief man!
Well, an update!

Let's start with last weekend, I decided to follow some friends to watch Tropic Thunder at Midvalley Megamall.
Did any of u guys said the movie is hilarious?! Well, its not. Its plain dumb, pathetic and silly. The over exagerated movie, is supposedly to be funny. Hmm, even i laugh at silly movies, thought that movie is just TOO silly to laugh. It reminds me of those "Scary movies 1, 2 , 3 and 4". So, if u think the Scary movie is hilarious, then, probably u would love this better!
One more thing, abt the Tropic Thunder...do u know that Tom Cruise acted in the movie? Well, when I was watching it, i did not realise one bit, until the very end of the movie when they were introducing the actors in the movie.

Probably 25 years ago.

25 years later.
See any resemblance? Taking a closer look this time, i think it kinda looks like him. He should dress like this in future if he doesnt want the paparazzi to be able to recognise him. I bet he can pull it off!

I have so many assignments to complete, and yet i am feeling so lazy to do it. How now?!...

Sunday, October 12, 2008

It felt so wrong, it felt so right!

Last week, i did something really sinful..
Something i cant seem to forgive myself, and yet, the temptation is great, that i just needed to do it. Hence, im not sorry for it.
I have to try it, I just have to.
Well, read on, and i think u will understand what i mean, and probably, may do the same too.

See this?!..
Can u see the pattern on the glass? Well, its frozen chocolate. U can eat it, its not just patterns on it!

Before

After

Wow....see this?! Louis' chocolate pie.

My crepe...Oooo, its simply delicious.
Only thing i dont like about it, is that it has raisins in it!

Me engross to the gossip magazine, until Louis was a little irritated at first.
So, i put it away, and get busy with my food!

Now, u see it!

Now, u dont!

This was at the Chocolate Lounge, at Bangsar Village. I told Louis, we cant have this all the time. Not only it is a little costly, but the chocolate is very rich. It may cause pimples and sore throat. He said, "Yeah, of course we cant have it all the time." That was on Friday.

I called him just now,

"Hey, where ru?"

"Hey, guess what? Im at the Chocolate Lounge in One Utama. It is not as nice at the Bangsar Village."

"Didnt i tell u not to have the chocolate so much?! It is very heaty."

"I had it on Friday...its not all the time!."
