San Fran!

It has been a while since i blog, and would put this outing with Aiwei in the blog, as she insists she would like to hear from my side of the story. Well, a while back, Aiwei and I decided to have a meal at San Francisco Steakhouse for their lunch meal. The meal costs abt RM16.90 i think? It is around there. We had the beef burger as it looks quite appetizing. The beef burger is not too greasy and taste delicious too. In the set, we had, free flow of drinks, along with pumpkin soup (which is the soup of the day) and the burger with fries.
And not to forget, for appetizers we are given bread with butter spread that is scoop like an ice cream!

-Aiwei's b'DaY!

This is such a long awaited post, and i MUST apologies for the delay, especially to Miss Mah. Well, how can i not blog abt this? It is like, her 21st birthday! I mean she had already posted it on her blog, but for the case of other people's viewing, i guess, i better be more detail. The four of us; Niena, Jasmine, Aiwei and myself had dinner at Marmalade to celebrate Aiwei's birthday. What she did not know was Jasmine followed us to celebrate her birthday. Jasmine is actually my primary schoolmate, but i have not hang out with her for years, man! So, it was really good and an opportunity to be going and catching up. Oh, yeah, and to those of u who doesnt know, Aiwei is also my primary schoolmate. (That's how she knows Jasmine and both of them are good friends!)
Although there were only 4 of us, and we ordered quite a lot to eat at Marmalade, we still bought a cake from Cake Sense for Aiwei as she always says that she never had a whole cake for her birthday before. Oh well, Aiwei, i hope u like the blackforest cake. It was not an easy task to sneak the cake into the shop without her looking and to get the waiter to put it into the fridge! Hmm, but im glad she did not spoil the fun and she was really surprise. Nyek, nyek...thank goodness for her blur-ness!

Hehe, i know this might not be your favourite picture, Aiwei (referring below), but i cant resist it. Look how hard ure trying to not make the candle go off. And my goodness, it was a really, really long wish, ok? We were waiting, and waiting, and waiting.
Hehe, a picture of me enjoying my strawberry on the cake, which was sour!

A picture of myself with the birthday girl

4 of us enjoying our meal.
Hope u had a great time, Aiwei and i hope u will remember this birthday, Dory! Our effort, phew!

-Amarin Heavenly Thai- Sharon's birthday!

Last Friday was Sharon's 21st birthday, and she decided to celebrate her birthday at Amarin Heavenly Thai, Midvalley. It was right after their exams, and so you can see their faces was probably like, stoned or tired (this was more of Seak Ling). Seak Ling was pretty quiet, poor girl having to sit in front of gavin and just listen to him crapping all the way. hehe..Oh well, he is going to Australia soon, so give him chance-la!
All the best, Gavin and im sure u will have a blast there. Did not take much pictures during the lunch as quite a few of us was snapping photos. Anyway, thanks girls, i stole your pictures. Hehe..

Sharon had a new hairdo, and i think it was nice. Unfortunately, this couldnt be your birthday present from us, but hope the Jusco vouchers will do u some good too! And, Michelle Chin (MC) said "Sharon looks like Monalisa." Haha, good one, MC, i agree with u on that!
Happy Birthday, Sharon. All the best and stay as pretty as ever. ;-)

These are some photos of the food, but there was more. And i mean, we ordered much more. It was some set, and was supposedly to be for 8-10 pax. We had 11 of us, and still couldnt finish the food. Tsk, tsk..haha! The girls, are small eaters, but i think we tried our best. Hmm, i have to comment abt the guys too. They cant eat much and Gavin; the vain pot doesnt eat rice cause he is planning to build up his body like Zac Efron. hehehe....

Lastly, a group photo of us...

Thanks Michelle Chin for organising this outing. It was fabulous. Im sure everyone had fun too.
Gavin and Grace, have a safe trip to Brisbane and all the best!
Sharon, once again, happy birthday.
Everyone else, just absolutely love your company. We should really do this more often. (provided i can take off from work, man!)

Penang, wat a trip!

Recently, I was at Penang, and manage to take some pics there. Went visiting and also spend some time at the beach. Was great fun!
Some pictures will show u what i mean.

At the beach..

Can u spot the crab? Camouflage, and it looks really deceiving. Oh well, can u see it?!

Ooo...beautiful sunset! I did not take it from some website, ok?! It was taken by the beach at Penang.

Do u think if this picture below is a statue or a person? Oh well, he is a person, that sits really, really still. He puts a bucket in front of him, and when u put some money inside the bucket, he starts to move to entertain u. Smart, huh? I put a dollar in, and he threw my a flying kiss. Haha..
Recently, i saw one in KL. Instead of looking like this tall man, it was a midget. Everyone just stared at the midget, but NO ONE put any money into the bucket. And i was really curious what can the midget do. So, I opened up the car window and started shouting, "Put money into the bucket. Put money into the bucket!" But, i guess no one bothered or heard, and my dad drove off...Hmph!

Pictures of food i took..
This place is near the Kek Lok Si temple. It is just by the road side, and there are only 3 stalls there. One, is the sugarcane stall, the other sells fried popiah etc, and the last stall is the asam laksa.

Okla, the asam laksa was not too bad, but i find that it is not spicy and sour enough.
RM3.00 asam laksa. Where to find?!

Char Kueh Teow...looks yummy, huh? This is at Tanjung Bungah, Penang. RM2.70. Beat that?

Visited the spice garden, which i think was very nice, but i was SO not prepared for the hike and trail walk. I was dressed in jeans, and a normal casual top with flats. Should have come with sport shoes, and a proper t-shirt.

At the spice garden
Took a break at the spice garden, and had some cookies. One is orange oats and the other is black pepper chocolate. Surprisingly, the black pepper chocolate tasted much better than the orange oats.

Hmm, Why on earth was this tall tree taken? Hmm, yes, i think i remember now. It's supposed to 'sembah roh' (pray to the spirit). I forgot wat was his name. Uncle Wong? Apparently, this tree has a spirit and everyday, the workers will pay their respect to the tree by putting cups of water and joystick in front of the tree.

Pretending to tumbuk kunyit. I was like..."Quickly take this picture before anyone sees me!"

Let's see, we have red and green chili padi. Nope, we have not seen purple. I guess, this would be my first time seeing this.

Oh, i love this dragonfly. There was actually 2 dragonflies. However, they were too far apart from each other, and so, i couldnt take both of it together. This must be the female, cause its red. What a beauty! ;-)

Lastly, a picture of my sitting on the swing at the spice garden, watching the view.

Ok, its late now, and im off to bed. Goodnight, people! Will blog more tmr abt the outings i had with college friends and Mah Aiwei! Oh, and Louis too!

Recent lunch with Louis

Recently, Louis and I went to TGIFridays for lunch. Funny how we decided to have a meal there. It went like this,
Me: Sigh, i miss going to places like TGIF or Chillis.
Louis: Sigh, i miss taking u there. Let's go Fridays for lunch and have endless ice lemon tea.

So, I ordered the set lunch which consists of Appetizer and Entree, and Louis ordered the Jack Daniel's chicken which i thought was alittle too dry.
For starters, we had Mac and Cheese. We were so hungry. It was just after my gym session, and after Louis' cycling. So, u can imagine how starving we were. Anyhow, i still managed to get some pics before attacking on the food.
(bottom picture) Wanna see how hungry Louis was? Can u see how his eyes glitter and u can imagine his mouth watering! Yummy-licious!

Next picture is my sizzling Chicken and Cheese. I think its quite nice.

Louis' JD chicken.

Yeah, we were so full, but still couldnt get enough ice lemon tea.

Louis says, " I want some more ice lemon tea!"

Watched Angels & Demons today and I thought the movie was not too bad. Its quite interesting and has a twist at the end. Hmm, i wonder if the book has exactly the same story line. I personally feel that it raises many queries and wonder if some part of the story truly exist. Oh, well...just a thought. Its 1.30AM now. Guess, i shall go to bed. Its quite a long day for me tomorrow. Goodnight, everyone!

Dear all,

Im sure u are aware that my blog has been pretty colourful with the photos that has been edited using photoshop these days. Well, it is the competition between Louis and I. As u can see at the two posts below, the latest posts is by mua, and the post below, is by Louis.
Hmm, I have to say, "Louis, good job!." But it doesnt mean, im losing in this competition, ok?! It has just begun and im not about to give up just yet. ;-)
So, please enjoy the pictures!

bonne journe! (Have a good day in French)
