Getting to know myself better..

I recently found out something about myself, that i have not realised before, until recently.

Conversations...

1st scene..

At the office
(phone rings)..Me: Hello
Caller #1: Hi, can i speak to Ms Lee, please.
Me : Oh, sorry, she is not at her place at the moment. Who is this calling?
Caller #1: This is ..(i cant remember wat)..
Me: Oh, ok. I will ask Ms Lee to call u back.

And there i was talking to my other colleague, Su Ting...
And when Lee came back, i told her, someone called her who's name is Li Ting..
And she was like..." I dont have a friend call Li Ting."
I kept quiet and thought for a while..Then i had to tell her, "im sorry, Lee, i must have forgot. I was talking to Su Ting just now, and i must have gotten confused and combined Su Ting's name with the other lady's name."

2nd scene...
Me: Who is this speaking?
Caller #2: This is Yun Li.
Me: Hi, Yun.......(i forgot wat was her last name). Anyway, the reason im calling is bcs..(i carried on the conversation as usual)
Caller #2: *Laughing* cause she knew i forgot her name just as she said it.

*Names* has been changed.

Last Day

As excited as i was about the idea of leaving work for not having to wake up early, never would i have thought that it will leave such an impact on me. Especially leaving my new found colleagues.

Well, for a start, it was a bad timing to leave around this date, as everyone knows the tax department is pretty busy. Somehow, my colleagues too have work and they are busy.

But, they did their best, and took me out for lunch, at IZZI..about the 15 of us. How thoughtful they are!

Believe it or not, on my last day, i was suppose to be walking aimlessly around the corridor, and just do nothing. But instead, i have quite a few work to do and submit before i could leave. So, yeah, i was pretty busy on my last day too.

However, my colleagues were so nice. These are the things they gave me before i left.

And a very very very nice card. Handmade card, by 4 Arty-farty ladies. I will definitely upload more pictures taken on my last day. For now, the pictures are not with me. So, when the pictures are in my hands, i will definitely upload it!

So, i guess i will miss them alot. And think of them, and i will still keep in touch with them.

After all, Uptown is just not that far, right?!

Sunday blues?!

Waking up on a Sunday morning is just so wrong (should be Sunday afternoon)...Well, not exactly wrong, but what is wrong is, u wake up and when u think to yourself, what should u do today, and u suddenly remember that u have some office work to prepare before tomorrow.
Now...how wrong is that?! *yawn*

Yesterday, when i was in church,i just saw something that i couldnt understand. Well, there was a couple that was just sitting right in front of me. They are maybe around 26 years old.
And what captured my attention was not because the guy was good looking, but because the both of them are reading comics during mass!...
Hence, the lady (supposedly to be lady) was reading a DORAEMON comic!...
Ok, although she is accompanying her boyfriend to church, it does not mean that she can be reading comics in church. Well, at the end of the day, i did nothing about it. Who am i to say..."Both of u...reading comics in church!! Sinful! Sinful! Sinful!"

Ok, that's all for now. Just wanted to drop by and blog a little. Will be going out for lunch soon. So, blog again later if im not so hooked into my Grey's Anatomy.

Random conversations

And so, i have a bad news and a good news.
The bad news is, i will be getting lesser pay this coming month during my internship.
And the good news is, it is because i will be leaving earlier than my expected date..on the 12th!!
Sad, cause i kinda enjoy what im doing, besides on the days that i have nothing to do at all, and most of my colleagues are pretty nice as well.
But, hey, its my holiday break right?! I guess, i should be enjoying my holidays. So, not feeling really guilty about it.

Some of our conversations we had during lunch.

Colleague #1 :So, Michelle, will u ever apply to come back and work for Deloitte when u graduate?
Me: Hmm, im not sure. But, maybe i might.
Colleague #1: Oh, but even if u apply right, im not sure if the director will hire u, and the reason will be, because u just laugh way too loud.
Me: *left me dumbfounded*
Cause the directors office are in the same level as my department. So, basically they are pretty close to us.

Colleague #2: Which school were u from in secondary?
Me: Oh, i was in Taman Tun school for about a year, and then, i went to Stella Maris, somewhere in KL.
Colleague #2: OooOoo....private school ar...catholic school somemore..So, do u guys like, assemble every morning, and instead of singing Negaraku, u guys sing Jesus songs instead?
Me: It is a semi-private school. And, yeah, basically we sing Jesus songs every morning, and after singing right, we will kneel and start bowing down worshipping Him.
Colleague #2: Oh (eyes really wide), really ar?!
Me:.....(i just cant stop laughing)

Or even at the office,
Colleague #3: Oh, now i know why the department suddenly became so noisy. Michelle is back from CCM.

So, these are the kind of stories that goes on in the office. So, it can be really funny at times.

So, how do u like my new template? Something different for a change and not so dull?

Coming home after a long day of work may seem something almost all working people will look forward to. Well, there are some people whom prefers to party, go for drinks, or, even, just to hang out with some friends instead. Well, as for me, on days that I have to teach at night, I teach, and other days, I will be going for yoga classes, and probably for a drink after that.
But my favourite bumming out time will be watching the series movies. Currently watching Ghost Whisperer, Season 3!..The bomb! Its my sister's. So, have to quickly watch it and pass it back to her.

Really hooked on it.

My next addictive movie series will be...Ta-da!!

GREY"S ANATOMY!! Haha..i know, it is Season 1. But i have not watch all the episodes ok? So, gotta watch it!

Alright, it is already 2am, and i guess i better sleep. I know that tomorrow is a SUNDAY, but, i still think it is definitely past my bedtime.

Shamay came back and gone back to the land down under. I felt like i couldnt spend much time with her as well, cause i am working and besides, she has to balance her time with her other friends and family too. However, i am still glad that we manage to catch up with each other!

Like she said, "Time passes really quickly and before we know it, she will be coming back in December already".

Its been a while..
