a quickie break...

A quick update before i continue with my assignment again..So today...i guess i was bored, and decided to remove the lamp shade on top of my ceiling. The lamp shade makes my room a little gloomy and so i didnt like it. Climbed on the chair..took out the light bulb first..Manage to take the light bulb out. I couldnt fix it back. Struggle with it a little, and the light bulb was hot too (cause i just switched off the light), and..so, i quickly fix it back. Unfortunately, i did not fix it properly, the light bulb went crashing down to the floor. "Crap! Now i have more work to do!" So, I had to sweep the floor, vacuum my room..and then, i stand on the chair again to try to remove the lamp shade. Thank goodness my effort was not really put to waste. I manage to remove the lamp shade, change to a brighter bulb, and voila!

And so my room is much brighter now! And im happyyy...! Although i broke a light bulb, and cut my finger too!

Lastly, a random picture of jelly sweets...I know..snacky person i am! I dont have it everyday, ok? I just like sweets in jar..! So colourful!

Buckingham Palace to see the queen

Buckingham Palace..Well, there is a song to it..Somehow, only my uncle knows abt it...I cant seem to recall. So, it was a beautiful Sunday morning. Uncle and aunt met me at the tube station in London..We went to Buckingham Palace and see the changing of the guards. Apparently, they change guards every alternate days..and a lot of people will crowd around to see the changing of the guards. The statues at Buckingham Palace..

and the marching begins..oh, and u can see horse poo everywhere..

Another group marching..they do look really smart..

My aunt and myself...

We couldn't get a view of the guards changing..so, we just stood there for like half an hour and watch the guards march into the palace..My Sunday of sightseeing..
Oh, this is not including of the Nature Museum History (which was really good) and Science Museum too..
Apparently, there are dinosaur fossils in the Nature Museum History..My cousins, aunt, and uncle were shocked when i said..." I never knew that dinosaurs is a FACT. All i thought it was just a science revolution thing and these are what scientist believe in. No evidence.." Well, they couldn't believe their ears..and i still think dinosaurs is a myth, ok? I know...such a blondie i am! Well, cant be help..i guess we werent really taught since young that dinosaurs was really a REAL thing!

My cousin asked me.."so how do u think they came up with dinosaurs..how do u think they manage to come up with such an image. It is REAL!"
I answered, " Well, its the same thing as how they came up with dragons, isnt it? Dont tell me dragons are real now!"

Tell me what u guys think..

I arrived London on Saturday actually..Had dinner at Kat's. Love her mum's cooking..and starters was just excellent. Her mum refused to tell the secret. I have to find the dips. Its too good. Bunk in with Val on Saturday night although we dint get much sleep..Slept about 5am..after helping her to colour her hair, which i was a little bit disappointed with the colour..Cant really see much difference. "Val, till we meet again, i shall colour your hair again for u out of satisfaction...What say u, as an experiment guinea pig?"

My study week is almost coming to an end..Sigh..and class resumes again on Monday..

Ok then..back to assignments again..Will keep u guys posted! Stay tuned!
xoxo

halloween in Bristol

So, Halloween is like the big thing here..with everyone dressing up, and really, everyone here is really creative. So some people dresses like a priest, cats, bloody ladies, zombies (mind you, walking like a zombie on the streets) Some even dress like Fankie, u know the horror movie..
carrying a parang pretending to chop strangers..everyone was like screaming when he did that. Annoying! There's a guy that was dressing up as the tin man from Wizard of Oz.
As for me, clueless of what to wear, couldnt find fake blood from the shop nearby, i decided to just get tiny devil horns with my friend, Sue Jean..and both of us were the devils for the night..Suet Ling; although u cant see..she is the fallen angel (black wings)

Went to Zen which is a club, its organised by some chinese club, so most of us there are Malaysians..Here are some pictures..

Can u see my lips? Its darker..nyek nyek..there's a secret to it! ;-)

Sue Jean and myself..while we were getting ready..

Borrowed my friend's tool and took a picture with it. Notice a police behind? Her bf was wearing a prisoner clothing! :-)

A random guy who wanted to take pics..i asked him to put on his mask..

myself, xin chan, jean, sue jean and suet ling

3 of us..cheers to Halloween!

Guess who i met? Kevan!!With his awesome fake blood

Yoong Wei and myself..outside the club.

Halloween here is pretty different as compared to Malaysia. Glad that i made the decision to go out and have some fun. Alright, then..will update u guys if there's anymore interesting things here. Currently, its getting colder now..So, good days are like 11degrees..today is around 6-8 degrees? Busy with assignments as well. Assignments are like flooding in..

the malaysia whirlwind

Hello everyone!

I feel very bersemangat to write this post..as there are a few questions that i am raising..Sigh, i have no idea what is happening to Malaysia..but definitely, its a whirlwind.

Well, first of all, we have to thank Najib for this 1Malaysia and declaring Sept 16 to be public holiday. To everyone who is working/studying, good for everyone that its a holiday..I guess, its an extra day to do more shopping or cycling! (yes, Louis, that's for your case)

Then, the news recently started talking about how if people marry single mothers, they will receive an award? Why? Marrying single mothers should have nothing to do with awards! What kind of recognition is that? Do u think people are get married to receive an award? That shouldnt even be in anyone's right frame of mind. And its not love anymore, eh?
So, next time, when we think of benefits about getting married to a single mother, think of getting an award..then, yeah..probably its a good thing then!

So, i seem to notice, Herald case is still going on. To those of u who dont know what is this Herald thing all about..well, basically Herald is a catholic newspaper, and because sometimes, we use the word, 'Allah' to refer to God, and apparently there's a case going on that we, Catholics shouldnt be using the word, 'Allah'.
According to my knowledge, which probably may or may not make any sense, but please, do correct me if im wrong..Allah means God, right? The word Allah originates from Arab which means God. Allah doesnt mean Muslim God right? Like, when u check in the dictionary..they usually say, 'Allah' refers to God which Muslim usually refer to. So, the word 'Allah' doesnt belong to anyone, right? Get what i mean?
If Muslim were to conduct a sermon in English how would they call Allah? Will they still use Allah or will they have to explain and just say God? What if they had to conduct a sermon to a bunch of English educated people who has no knowledge whatsoever about Muslim. Then, how will they refer Allah? Well, this is just my two pence worth. Of course, im still so young, and talking about all these issues, i may not understand much of it.

See what i mean about whirlwind..suddenly good and bad, good and bad..well, thank goodness there's a good.
Ok, no more of these now..will post up something more interesting next time than to bore u guys with all these, ok? xoxo

Bath, but not to shower..

So, my parents and uncle, aunt came down to Bristol during the weekend, and we went to Bath to visit. Well, i must say, there's quite a few interesting things to see..

My uncle and aunt

On top: My parents..looking so loving!
Told u, there's a few interesting things to see! Sorry, couldnt take more..he was gonna put fireworks into his butt crack and do a somersault!

The Roman bath..its the most popular thing in Bath. Well, quite a bit interesting stuff in there. Apparently, this is where the Romans used to shower many many years ago. Some parts of the place has fallen apart, but they managed to retrieve these few valuable parts and put it on display.

I'm listening to the explanation..and, so is my dad!

We manage to get free spring water to drink. The man serving us claims it tastes awful. Oh, well...taste just like water except that its just a tiny bit salty. Bet he hasnt been to the beach and accidentally drink a gulp of water there!

Parents and myself
Oh, this is at the entrance of Jane Austen's place. Im taking a picture with Mr Bud!

Oh well...he is supposedly dressed as the olden days...guess, i did some photoshop to make it look a bit nostalgic!

Few pictures below are taken at a park in Bath. Its lovely there!
Well, im pretty sure its not as nice as Hyde Park in London (although ive never been there!)

Finally, a picture of Abbey tower..my uncle took it! Have to give credit to him..cant take all the glory! ;-P

People, just look at my fat face! Ive put on weight..just like that! Ok, time for dieting before i get any fatter! Gym, gym, gym..here i come!

terrific thursday..

Today is Thursday..and i have 3 days weekend! Woohoo! Yup, people, i dont have any classes on Fridays as well. But i guess i gotta start studying and with all my assignments coming in too!
Currently, im so lost in one of my subject; Corporate Financial Management and looks like i gotta do a lot of catching up this weekend.

So, today is my first time ever i cooked rice since i got here. Yes, believe it or not. Well, i decided to make fried rice as a i guess i love fried rice, but not as much as chicken rice!
Yeah, so this is how my fried rice turned out to be. A little wet i guess...must be the egg..and the best part is..my mum left some sambal with dried prawn for me in the freezer! So, i had to eat with the fried rice..Yummy-licious!

My cup of tea! Cute, eh?

Put some tea in and some chrysanthemum...hmm..so relax.
So, now i can study..keke!

I know i havent been uploading lots of pictures about my the place and all. Ok, will post up some pictures after this of Bath, ok?
