I cant seem to link friends blogspot in the tumblr. So, will see how it goes about moving..I will not delete this blog anyhow! Had a tiring day today..Dinner was only at 9.30pm. And im sleepy now. Dint get to do much work today too! I hope I will be able to do more tmr! night, peeps!

reminiscing..

Had a sudden moment of Shamay..and I remembered how she called me in the wee hours of the morning just to wish me 'safe trip' when i was leaving to UK. Hearing my voice on the phone when she called me and how she can hear I was sobbing on the other line, she sob with me too although she was all the way in Australia..Shamay; my kindergarten friend, and although we dont keep in touch that often, but we still have random moments where we think of each other. 
When we meet...haha...we can really talk and there's no such thing as awkward moment at all. Even to an extend where some friends wouldnt wanna go out with us because they are afraid of interfering our moment of 'together' as if we are dating! How funny is that May and I have our individual close friends, but from out of that circle of close friends, we hold close to each other.

May, its a pity we didnt take much pictures together..and we do not look our very best at some pictures too! Till we next meet again, we should 'dress up' and have dinners and take more pics too, ok? Love ya!

Sue Jean's 21st birthday dinner and surprise

A friend said to me, "Have fun at the surprise birthday. Anyway, its always fun to have surprise birthday. After all, who doesnt like surprise birthdays?"

Sorry to say, but im never good with birthday surprises. I guess my college friends will know me best when it comes to that aspect. I usually ruin it by saying things like, I cant make it, or I dont feel like going out. And so, they have no choice but to tell me its a birthday celebration and I have to attend.

Anyway, this is not my birthday surprise but for a friend of mine, Sue Jean, who just turned 21 and is complaining that she is getting old. (Sensitive issue for me)

Funny thing is that, I dont even feel my age. I feel younger, or rather childish. Now, is that good or bad?

Oh, anyway, back to this surprise thing...Man, it was quite a preparation. We had to sneak up on her, take her key from her bag while she was playing badminton, to get into her room, and quietly put it back while she was not looking. Managed to get into her room, prepare the balloons and cakes etc...and hid in her bathroom.

She came back from badminton, went straight into the kitchen! We left the balloons and cakes in the kitchen..so, she realised we were there..but she just couldnt find us. She was searching high and low, came into the room, and went back outside. Eventually, she gave up and came inside the room. She took off her socks, and was gonna wash her hands first, when she got a shock of her life to see all of us in masks, hiding in the toilet and screaming, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!" Really, if I was her, I would be terrified!

My friend, Sue Jean's 21st birthday was quite fun! We had dinner together, and also a surprise for her. Although, i must say the damage left a hole in my wallet, and that is not even including Milo's birthday today! So, i dont wanna talk about the damage for this month. Just cant wait for my first salary to come in! Although its not much...but i guess, it should be enough for my groceries etc.. So, here are some pictures for the dinner with my friends..

I guess when we get older, the more difficult it is to find true and good friends. I can consider these 2 friends of mine to be the closest here in Bristol. At least we get along pretty well, and talk about stuff, and gossip! So, I can say im pretty fortunate to make new friends that I can get along. After all, most people here already have their own 'click' and friends. So, most of them dont really wanna mingle with others too.

Shanghai Night!

Finally, a way of releasing stress. Makan time!! Decided to go to Shanghai Night, a Chinese buffet. Mind you, its not cheap ok? Its about 15pounds per person. But what a night..with loads of food to order. Yeah, we order and they will bring it to us at our table.

Ah May is a good cook. She even knows how to make Chee Cheong Fun from scratch ok? Good, eh? Her boyfriend is from Stella and i know him too! Isnt that a coincidence?

Ahh, the best! Mango pudding. It was really good.

Siew Mai..waited so long for it man. Immediately i sat down, I ordered until like..2 hrs later only it arrived!

Then there's sweet sour pork. See, we are so deprived of chinese food.

Sad to say the service was not good. They will send u the bill after 3 hrs of eating! How horrible! But it was really good to have chinese food. Hmm, but i think out of temptation, we will definitely go back there again although the service is lousy! Its been a while since we had chinese food like this! Yummy! Now i really wonder what will we be doing for Chinese NEw YEar.

i survived!

So glad that its half over...

So, i survived January with countless sleepless nights or about 3-5hrs of sleep, stress was like crazy. With 2 assignments and 2 exams, boy it wasnt easy! What's worse was when results decided to come out so much earlier..and i dint manage to score that well for 1 of the exam...

I dont really wanna talk about it i guess. Just glad that its over.

So, since yesterday, i've been going out for dinner, and friend's birthday..There's so many peoples birthday in February, that I guess, i will be officially broke man! Seriously, no joke!!

Weather is like a whirlwind too. Its getting colder again and today it hit -3degrees. Weather forecasts that it will be snowing tmr. And i initially wanted to go for mass..Let's hope I can wake up and go for mass. Ok then, will update u guys with pictures of good food in my next post.

Managed to clean my room after weeks of abandoning it. Now, its left with vacuum the floor and then my room will be clean and tidy!

Till then, will make you guys drool a little. My first attempt of making pancakes..just cant get enough of it! Simply addictive and easy to make.

words

Funny how words can make or break a person. Words can hurt a person or make a person's day seem like their happiest ever in life. I blame the words for causing these joy and pain. Words that seem too complex sometimes for a normal person like me to absorb; or rather, a shallow person like me. Others may blame the mind, for some people dont think when they speak. Others may blame feelings, for some may have stronger feelings to being more sensitive or emotional and take things more personally.

What's worse is when a person who can't seem to get the right words to say at the right time, or rather not think when they speak and end up feeling emotional or rather bad for saying words that he or she doesnt mean. See, i told you its words..

Words...why can't we put words in a more positive manner?

For example, Stupid = Less intellectual (why, doesnt this sound better?)

An Idiot = His/Her usual self

Fat = Slightly bigger/plump

Ugly = Less attractive

There, is it that difficult?
